The Università Popolare e della Terza Età “Mogadiscio” was established on 3 December 2025 and registered with the governmental authorities in Rome, Italy, on 9 December. It is under the international and national presidency of Prince Professor Pasquale Sorrentino.

The Italian system of education recognizes the existence of a distinct category of non-profit private universities that are directed towards avocational study and lifelong learning, termed “popular universities” and “universities of the third age”. These universities are concerned with instruction and research pursued purely for academic, religious, social and cultural benefit.

The University has awarded me the Diploma premio culturale e spirituale mondiale di “Campione per la vita” for my work in support of the pro-life movement and against abortion.

The University has also appointed me as its Dirigente e Direttore dei Rapporti con il Mondo Cristiano Anglicano, Episcopale e Ortodosso, reflecting my work in Christian ecumenism.
