The Earls Colne Essex Priory of the Sovereign Order of Knights Hospitaller of St John of Jerusalem, Malta and Antioch, met on 26 January at the Metropolitan Club in Washington, DC. At the meeting under the chairmanship of the Prince Grand Master, my appointment as a Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice of the Order was affirmed. This representation of the Johannine tradition shares a common origin with several other branches with which I have had association, representing a continuation of the Hereditary Commanderies which embodied the Russian tradition of the Order.

The Priory was inaugurated by the Sovereign Council in Essex County, New Jersey. last October, and has a dedicated and growing membership.
