In 2010, I was approached by a modern Templar group based in Italy, the Priorato del Tempio Hierosolimitano di Mik’Ael (PTHM) with a request that I should provide them with a charter of authority in my capacity as Presiding Bishop of the Ecclesia Apostolica Divinorum Mysteriorum (which body has significant Templar links).

I met with the representatives of the PTHM in London on 3 September 2010. Although this was a cordial occasion, it was made difficult by the language barrier; my spoken Italian was unfortunately inadequate to the task. I issued my Magna Charta to the PTHM, and the PTHM conferred upon me the insignia of their organization.
